OLGA CASTAÑER

Dr. Olga Castaner (Md, PhD) is a family medicine physician and a dedicated researcher with extensive expertise in vascular health at Hospital del Mar Research Institute. Her research focuses on biomarkers of neurovascular integrity, and preventive strategies for metabolic and neurodegenerative diseases such as lifestyle interventions. She has received competitive research funding, contributed to high-impact scientific publications, and led several clinical trials and research projects. She is currently an Atlantic Fellow for Equity in brain Health, at the Global Brain Health Institute, in Trinity College.
