I am a physicist working in the medical field. I got my PhD with a thesis on MRI parameters relevance for tissue characterization in patients following radiotherapy. I am working in a medical imaging department. I have been performing several neuro magnetic resonance imaging studies in the frame of collaborative research projects. The results of these studies are published in European Radiology (2001), NeuroImage (2003), Journal of magnetic resonance imaging (2010), European Journal of Radiology (2012), Romanian reports in physics (2014), Neuroradiology (2015), PlosOne (2017), eNeuro (2021). My major interests are in functional neuro-MR imaging (task-related, resting state – functional connectivity studies), diffusion studies (structural connectivity), cerebral structures segmentation and quantification.
